At our last Cross Collaboration meeting at the McKinley School House in St. Charles, we discussed some of the biggest needs that the St. Louis area has.

Here are some of the things that were mentioned:

  • Alcohol and drug abuse
  • Transportation
  • Denial and complacency
  • Need to get more individuals involved
  • Youth unsupervised after school (hours 3pm to 6 pm)
  • Fragile families
  • Church barriers - not seeing the local mission field
  • Not bringing people to Jesus
  • Families and individuals don’t even know where to go for help

Answer us this:

  • Are there needs that we have missed?
  • What agencies or resources already address many of these needs?
  • What can we do through collaborating to help in combating these community challenges?

Please comment below and tell us your thoughts.

Here is where you can post your ideas about what we can do together to better address any or all of these needs.
